Painting workshop

THE KASTHURI Sreenivasan Trust is organising its tenth annual painting workshop to promote art in Coimbatore. So far, more than 1,000 students have benefited from these workshops. This year, two artists from Kumbakonam will guide students in the art of painting using oil and watercolours and making clay models and paper crafts during the four-day workshop, on from January 13-16.
The workshop, conducted free of cost, is open for children from Class IX to XII and college students. A total of 120 participants will form part of the workshop and they will be awarded merit and participation certificates. The last date for registration for schools and colleges is January 10.
